We offer all aspects of the design, installation, maintenance and support of comprehensive integrated electronic security and control systems. These systems include access control, CCTV systems, electronically controller barriers, intrusion and perimeter detection, parking and revenue control, and command and control systems. SCS is currently seeking Directors of New Business and Sales in our Houston, Texas location. The individuals will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a sales presence in the security, integrated systems, and construction industry.

Duties and responsibilities will include development of new business opportunities through prospecting and identifying potential sales opportunities :

* Represent SCS in selling new security systems to commercial end users

* Develop new customer accounts and sales leads by marketing SCS product lines and offering value-added services and information to prospective customers

* Recommend and design security systems to address customers’ needs and the targeted revenue for installations

* Develop and implement sales strategies

* Sell and promote re-occurring revenue plans, maintenance agreements and services

* Provide customers with consultations, presentations, and professional sales quotations to lead to closing of approved contracts

* Complete and process all paperwork related to customers’ sales and installations – following the complete process through final sign-off

* Responsible for overall sales, profit, expense and customer service to customers, as well as prospecting for new business

* Establish periodic goals and objectives, and achievement of the agreed upon results within the stated period/submit sales status reports on a weekly basis to Manager

* Provide close interaction with other SCS employees to design and plan a project through all phases of work


* Two to four year college degree required or equivalent work experience

* Two to three years of proven successful selling in the systems sales, or construction industry

* Experience in building and prospecting for new business

* Ability to build and manage relationships and influence decision makers at all levels

* Results and detail oriented

* Ability to set goals and develop sales plans utilizing good organizational and time management skills

* PC literate with experience with the MS Office environment including e-mail and electronic spreadsheet skills
